Cunningham’s Pharmacy went from grant application to a live site in four months.
Cunningham’s Pharmacy, Athlone approached Magico in April 2019 about applying for the Enterprise Ireland Online Retail Scheme grant, and building a transactional site for the business. Four months later, CunninghamsPharmacy.com went live on the AB Commerce platform.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in March 2020, Cunningham’s Pharmacy were empowered by their online platform, offering their customers the comfort and security of ordering their health and beauty products from home, and by establishing a ‘click and collect’ option.
Other online services include:
Online doctor service
Online appointment bookings
It also facilitated them in reaching new customers external to their geographic domain, at a time when footfall in-store had plummeted dramatically.
What they have to say
“We approached Magico about applying for the EI Online Retail Scheme Grant and the opportunity to build a transactional site for CunninghamsPharmacy.com and were delighted with the level of support and guidance the Magico team provided to us.
Their experience, and insight contributed to a successful application that incorporated all of the elements we required to get our online store up and running on the AB Commerce platform, and ensure its visibility once live.”
